First Draft Flash

First Draft Flash is a Substack newsletter. It features a collection of interconnected flash fiction originating in a Carousel Town. These little 1000-1500 word fragments explore the lives of the ordinary and extraordinary people surrounding Leia, a girl who grew up in a motel, riding carousel horses in a pen behind a house of colorful boxes.
